When death stares in your direction

No matter what you say or do

Its eyes peers through the smallest opening

To capture the clearest portrait of you

Unexpectedly a sigh releases the dream

The hopes of being present

The desire to keep on for one second

Grows to be the frame that captures the warmth

So hurt is no more

And weakness is for a moment

Thoughts

Beliefs

A life of giving

Sharing and hope

Purest of intent

Across nubs of many

The neutral stance of fate

The imprint of forgiveness

The ease of being in motion

Through the tangled passage of time

Freely respire

Graciously blush

Rest in silence
